Comic books are a massive part of my life and hugely important to me on a personal level.

I was born deaf and had a lot of trouble with reading and speaking as a kid, comic books were one of the tools we used to help me learn. I consumed them like nothing else, the more I read, the better my reading got.

The art captured my attention but the words and the stories kept me enthralled, without comics I don’t think I would have had half the success I did in school.

Marvel books, particularly Spider-Man and Transformers comics were my bread and butter, I have some Transformers UK comics that are as old as I am XD.

Needless to say when I stumbled across MCP at my locale FLGS, I was immediately hooked.

When I finally dove in, I set about painting as much as I could, I don’t have pictures of everything I have painted yet, but stay tuned as I add more to the gallery…
